Rapid Rally is an arcade style top down rally racing game where you can’t just rely on speed. To win you need to master each corner, choose the perfect cornering angle and finish each race as soon as possible.
From the very beginning Rapid Rally places you on a short race circuit with only one goal: to reach the finish line in the shortest time possible. But then it gets tricky, as the route becomes even more twisty and narrow and with steep twists.
The car is always going quite fast thus you need to get your steering right. If you take corners too wide, you'll lose a significant amount of distance. If you steer too sharply, you'll lose control and your time advantage.
The appeal of Rapid Rally lies in the fact that each level only lasts a few tens of seconds to a little over a minute, short enough for players to readily press Restart multiple times to improve their performance.
