There's an interesting paradox in Joy Garden: to earn more Gold, sometimes the best thing to do isn't to plant more trees, but to invest in your existing crops to increase their value. This 3D farm simulation game starts with a few simple plots of land, but the further you progress, the more you have to think like a real manager. When should you expand your land? Growth rates / Automation tools What to improve first? These options will impact the speed at which your garden grows.
The whole process of growth begins with the initial seeds. You choose out seeds from the seed box, plant them in the earth by clicking or dragging and keep an eye on the condition of each plant. A water droplet indicator means the plant needs watering, while a sparkle effect means the produce is ready to be harvested.
Don’t forget the bugs that crawl in between the rows of plants. They can be netted and sold for Gold. This is a good way to earn extra money, especially if the garden isn't yet full with plants or major enhancements.
Keeping the planting, care and sales cycle is the most critical goal at this phase. The gold earned will be capital to develop a more efficient system.
As your gathered finances expand, more development opportunities become available for Joy Garden. You can buy more plots and raise growth rates or go for bigger harvests.
Some good choices include:
The most expensive upgrade is not always the best. If your crops are still developing slowly, increasing too soon could mean a long wait to return your investment.
Joy Garden has three great automated tools: sprinklers to help with watering, birds to trap insects and automatic harvesting mechanism. These features are designed to save manual effort and free up your time to work on major decisions.
Automation, however, does not mean that all goals are automatically achieved. You still have to think about when to choose upgrades, buy seeds and when to expand. This is when the management side of the game becomes more obvious than in the early minutes when you were only taking care of your plants.
The starting garden is only one part of the journey. Joy Garden has six areas, from Beginner’s Plot to Divine Realm, along with a collection of 40 plant types. Besides familiar vegetables, players can also explore Phoenix Bloom and Dragon Orchid.
Daily quests, achievements and seven-day login incentives add goals to chase. Meanwhile, the Top Gold leaderboard turns the collection of resources into a competition.
Players can reset their garden with Prestige and obtain Rubies when progress slows down. This currency is utilised in the Prestige Shop to unlock goods for further development.
The Prestige decision is a trade-off between current gain and long-term rewards. Restarting at the right time can open up a more efficient development path than continuing to invest in a slow-growing garden.
Joy Garden makes gardening, resource collection and production optimisation a voyage of continual progress. Your success depends on how you turn each harvest into a stepping stone to the next goal.
